What is HDS hosting?

HDS hosting (Health Data Hosting – Hébergement de Données de Santé in French)  is the hosting of personal health data on digital media certified by the Agence du Numérique en Santé (ANS). This certification guarantees that the hosting provider meets a certain number of security and confidentiality requirements defined in the HDS standard.

If you’re planning to set up software to store healthcare data, HDS hosting is a must!
Here are the main points to remember about HDS hosting:

Mandatory for sensitive
healthcare data

HDS hosting is mandatory for so-called "sensitive" healthcare data, i.e. data containing particularly sensitive medical information, such as data relating to HIV, cancer or mental illness.

Enhanced security and confidentiality

The HDS host undertakes to implement technical and organizational
measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of hosted
health data. These measures include data encryption, access control
and access traceability.

Regular audits

HDS providers are subject to regular audits by an independent body,
to ensure that they are complying with the requirements of the HDS standard.

At iRevolution, we have built an HDS infrastructure that we make available to you in SaaS mode.
